Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, industrial cleaning, or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
