Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER/SUPERVISORY MATERIALS ENGINEER/ SUPERVISORY CHEMICAL ENGINEER/SUPERVISORY CHEMIST. Examples of specialized experience include: Demonstrating expertise in corrosion science and engineering, the materials, processes and designs used for the prevention of corrosion, and the materials, processes and designs for the repair of corrosion damage, particularly for major aircraft and aviation systems; Demonstrating experience in the development and implementation of requirements for corrosion control plans for major aircraft and aviation systems, and in the review and approval of corrosion control plans from industry; Demonstrating experience in the assessment of data, test reports, engineering change proposals, repair procedures, technical risk, and failure analyses related to corrosion on aircraft; Demonstrating experience in leadership of engineering personal; Demonstrating experience in financial management of projects, programs, or teams; and Demonstrating experience in acquisition and sustainment efforts and interactions with program stakeholders.Additional education and qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management websites:
