Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:- Performing otoscopic examinations, tympanometry tests and evaluations;
- Counseling patients on test results, documenting results and referring for further evaluation if needed;
- Schedules and checks patients into the Occupational Audiology Clinic using the electronic medical record, MHS Genesis or similar software application;
- Providing annual Hearing Conservation training to personnel in the Hearing Conservation Program; AND
- Performing functional and calibration checks on audiometric equipment and routine clinic maintenance duties.
