You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Information Technology (IT) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) Branch in the Theater Undersea Warfare Systems (USW) C5I Systems Division, Undermanned & Theater Undersea Warfare Systems Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Qualifications:
FOR GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Analyzing and troubleshooting IT systems and security controls to determine the appropriate course of action for the organizations access and information technology systems (i.e., Windows and/or Linux and operating systems and hardware).
Examples of qualifying experience: System Administration knowledge for Windows and/or Linux software; serve as Administrator for Windows and/or Linux operating systems and hardware; knowledge of controlled material and asset management; perform technical writing and communication.; find a problems and work toward a solution with little oversight. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
FOR GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
analyzing and responding to customer IT issues pertaining to information security, software and hardware to maintain multiple IT systems (i.e., Windows and/or Linux and operating systems and hardware).
Examples of qualifying experience: System Administration knowledge for Windows and/or Linux software; serve as Administrator for Windows and/or Linux operating systems and hardware; knowledge of controlled material and asset management; perform technical writing and communication.; find a problems and work toward a solution with little oversight. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
