**Senior Design Manager - Utility Electrical Contractor**
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide leadership and accountability for the Design Team's contractual obligations and client deliverables.
- Offer technical supervision and ensure the quality of team deliverables.
- Stay updated with codes and standards to ensure compliance.
- Act as a liaison between the client and the Design Team.
- Evaluate system operations and develop project scopes for overhead and underground utility systems.
- Oversee daily administrative functions of the office.
- Perform additional duties as needed and/or assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience in design engineering.
- 5 years of leadership experience.
- Experience in the electrical utility space is required.
- Experience working directly with local utilities in Southern California is required.
- Ability to make sound business and financial judgments.
- Basic knowledge of accounting, managerial, and business finance.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
