Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for day-to-day Human Resources activities and performs a key role in the success of Moore and the unit(s) they support. As a member of the Moore corporate HR team, the Human Resources Manager is accountable for aligning people strategy with business strategy. Drive talent agenda, partnering closely with Shared Services, Centers of Expertise (COEs), HR Operations and business unit leaders to effectively and efficiently deliver a full spectrum of strategic and tactical programs to support business and people objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise one or more HR support staff and/or administrative staff.

This position also serves as a partner/advisor to the Business Unit President and as well as to the unit managers and staff that they work with.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-
Advise and coach leaders and employees on matters related to talent development, organizational performance, engagement and culture, leadership, and strategic planning
- Develop and analyze data to guide business leaders in workforce planning and execution of people strategies
- Partner with Shared Services, COEs to deliver key programs in the business to support talent assessment, talent development, and enhancing leadership capabilities
- Participate in and/or drive cross functional projects; acting as change agent, driving continuous improvement culture.

Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders while navigating complex business relationships

Use people metrics and benchmarking to drive key insights and decisions for talent growth, engagement, and retention,

Conduct formal and informal leadership development needs analysis across the organization; partners with Shared Services to develop and administer training on HR-related matters across business unit.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations with resolutions that are aligned with company policies and best practices

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring legal compliance.

Use understanding of business, company, and department goals to identify needs, opportunities, solutions, and risks relating to human resources programs and services, workforce productivity, retention, employee engagement, organizational design, performance, talent management, and diversity and inclusion.
- Develop strong relationships with Operations leadership and HR partners by connecting frequently to learn their needs, concerns and insights

Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding of key business priorities facing the business unit and enterprise.
- Leverage relevant data, analytic aptitude, HR acumen and other tools to influence action, support decision making and root cause assessments

Partner closely with all members of the Human Resource to broker specialized COE expertise in support of enterprise and HR initiatives

Consistently exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a business-related field or 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience with 5 years as an hr business partner or equivalent.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Experience in leading and managing others preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Minimal travel anticipated; may consist of auto and air travel.
