Position Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Navistar!
In this role you will support development testing of advanced vehicle stability and safety systems, data acquisition and software development activities and general light repair of electrical systems. This is an on-site position at the Navistar Proving Grounds in New Carlisle IN.
Responsibilities
- Dewesoft Software/Hardware deployment
- Work directly with internal and external customers to develop and execute test plans to match NPG capabilities
- Document and assist with resolution of test issues
- Assist with procurement of test related hardware and equipment
- Collect and analyze data using strain gages, accelerometers, etc.
- Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Interpret and apply customer procedures, specifications, drawings, etc. to projects as required
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
OR
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

- Vehicle Testing experience preferred
