What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Optimization Manager position at Navistar, Inc.?
The Navistar Service Solutions Department has an opening for an Inventory Optimization Manager.
The role of the Inventory Optimization Manager (IOM) is to oversee and influence multiple factors that make the best use of Navistar’s Aftermarket Inventory. This role will drive many projects to address existing inventory and to influence the addition of future inventory. The ideal candidate would have supply chain experience and the ability to develop PowerBI reports and applications.
Responsibilities
- The IOM would interact with supply chain management, Inventory Planning team, Product team, and the Business Intelligence Team
- Maintain metrics and dashboards for Inventory details and KPIs
- Special projects related to inventory movement, consumption, planning, and systems implementation
- Track and monitor actions and results
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
OR
Master's degree
At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
OR
- At least 7 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
