Inventory Optimization Manager

The Navistar Service Solutions Department has an opening for an Inventory Optimization Manager. 

The role of the Inventory Optimization Manager (IOM) is to oversee and influence multiple factors that make the best use of Navistar’s Aftermarket Inventory. This role will drive many projects to address existing inventory and to influence the addition of future inventory. The ideal candidate would have supply chain experience and the ability to develop PowerBI reports and applications.

• The IOM would interact with supply chain management, Inventory Planning team, Product team, and the Business Intelligence Team
• Maintain metrics and dashboards for Inventory details and KPIs
• Special projects related to inventory movement, consumption, planning, and systems implementation
• Track and monitor actions and results

• Bachelor's degree

• At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

OR

• Master's degree

• At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

OR

• At least 7 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, detail oriented
• Self-motivated, able to research independently
• Able to manage multiple projects/tasks
• Ability to problem solve and follow through
• Power BI Development, SQL experience
• Ability to cope with ambiguity and rapid change
