Quality Assurance Analyst Intern

Navistar is currently seeking interns pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field to work in our Supplier Quality department.

🔹 Duration: Summer 2024 (12 weeks) 🔹 Location: Navistar World HQ – Lisle, IL

What You Can Expect:

• Quick, in-depth learning of Navistar business systems and Navistar business processes
• Work on Quality Management Systems documentation, including develop, implement, maintain, and control process documents.
• Build and manage relationships with end users, cross-functional teams, vendors, and management through collaboration projects.
• Anticipate potential problems, be proactive and manage changes to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
• Open and frequent communication on program status to cross functional and procurement leadership teams.
• Work with external suppliers and internal cross functional teams to review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), continuous improvement projects, and problem solving.
• Travel to Navistar manufacturing locations, suppliers and customers as required.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status)

• At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
• Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
• Previous applicable internships
• Self-starter
• High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)
