Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician for a 13-week traveler assignment in Denton, TX. This role is essential to providing patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, with responsibilities including assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and assist with other duties as needed in the cath lab
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC and Cupid systems
- Participate in on-call rotations during weekends and off hours, with a 30-minute response time requirement
Requirements:
- Radiology Technologist with Cath Lab experience or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Certification in BLS and ACLS required
- Certification with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and TMB (Texas Medical Board) preferred
- Experience with EPIC and Cupid documentation systems
- Ability to handle 12-18 cases per day
Experience Preferences:
Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist with cardiac catheterization experience, or as an RCIS, is preferred.
