Overview Engineering role requiring expertise in unified communications, cloud voice technologies (UCaaS/CCaaS), Microsoft Teams, Oracle SBC, SIP protocol, and tier 3-4 operational support. Significant experience supporting unified communications in large enterprise environments. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving voice and network engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.
Responsibilities - Full life-cycle project management

- Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff
- Provide input and make budgetary recommendations regarding staffing and equipment
- Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
- Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
- Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
- Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
- Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
- Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions
- Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Advanced hands-on experience in migration strategy planning and execution, particularly in transitioning from legacy systems to UCaaS and CCaaS platforms
- Advanced hands-on telephony experience within, Oracle SBC, and/or AT&T routing of Universal/International Toll-Free routing
- Advanced hands-on experience with the SIP protocol and analyzing call flows
- Strong understanding of communication infrastructure, device compatibility, and integration with UCaaS platforms
- Provide expert-level support for Cisco Cloud Calling
- Significant hands-on experience and knowledge with Cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS)
- Significant hands-on experience integrating Oracle SBC and cloud providers
- Significant hands-on experience Oracle SBC network design, configuration, support, and maintenance
- Strong proficiency with automating deployment and management tasks using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong proficiency with direct routing, E.164 dial plans, e911, SIP Trunking, PowerShell scripting, and MS Teams routing policies
- Strong proficiency with configuring and optimizing cloud platforms for telecom applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Strong proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting telecom services and infrastructure in the cloud, addressing performance issues and outages promptly
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and research problems of a complex nature, make reasonable decisions, and recommend solutions
- Ability to provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and external customers on cloud-based solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for financial institutions implementing services in the cloud
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, requirements, goals, and organizational change
- Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff
- Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications. Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Ability to learn and lead development of technical specifications
- Provides engineering support for large-scale 24x7 operational environment, including off-hours

Desired Qualifications - Significant hands-on experience with Azure Communication Services
- CCNP Collaboration Certification
- Relevant industry certifications (such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer)
- Strong Genesys framework experience (configuration and implementation)
- Proficient with Genesys CCpulse, GAX (Genesys Administrator Extension), GA (Genesys Administrator) & Kazimir
Salary: Level III $97,500 - $173,675 annually | Level IV $112,200 - $199,900 annually
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
