Overview
Support Navy Federal's leaders and business partners to identify critical learning gaps and recommend the best learning solution to support business unit objectives and enterprise-wide initiatives aligned with Navy Federal's University learning model and enterprise strategy. Collaborate enterprise-wide with operational and learning community partners to understand organizational / department learning needs and support the development of strategy-focused learning. Partner with talent development, the enterprise learning community and subject matter experts to curate, validate, and develop content and learning resources, tools, and self-directed content to support enterprise strategy and goals. Support the measurement of effectiveness of learning solutions and programs. Support learning subject matter experts in providing knowledge of design programs, principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies and apply each, ensuring a positive learner/customer experience and alignment with Navy Federal's overall strategy and culture.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid/Partial telework environment across multiple work locations (Determined by Business Unit Leader)
- The scope and focus of work for Learning Solutions Architects in L&TD (HR) are aligned at the enterprise level.
- Learning Solutions Architects operating outside of the HR division, will have a scope and focus that is more directly aligned to the business unit/department level needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of learning strategies, tactics and solutions and assist in the design and development of learning solutions and content for one or more professional development or employee upskilling programs
- Facilitate learning solutions for professional development, employee upskilling and other areas as applicable
- Gather data and conduct analysis on less complex sets of data to evaluate and analyze training effectiveness
- Collaborate in the development of reference materials, support tools and leader resources that reinforce strategic learning
- Remain current with industry learning best practices and technical, product and program enhancements
- Support multiple small-scale Division/Branch projects and programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Develop classroom, on-line and/or independent learning program content that transfers knowledge effectively and brings about desired behavior change
- Develop and implement change management solutions
- Will facilitate and maintain LMS/HCM learnings and academies
- Facilitate training sessions on Procurement-related materials internally and externally
- Write online reference material, instructions, and communications
- Administer and develop eNet content
- Interview internal customers to determine task objectives, requirements and needs including complex intranet resources
- Maintain documentation library to ensure currency of processes
- Provide training to end user in the use of electronic manuals and reference material
- Review content requirements for initiatives and recommends to business owners processes to be completed to achieve their objectives and avoid gaps
- Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results
- Ensure effective management of projects from inception through implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
- Experience in one or more of the following: program management and evaluation, learning science, communications, instructional design, organizational development and/or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training
- Willingness to learn, use a growth mindset and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application
- Experience in conducting needs assessment and analysis for learning solutions
- Exposure to organizational, planning, and project management skills and knowledge
- Experience effectively building relationships with and influencing team members and management
- Experience measuring ROI on learning solutions
- Exposure to compiling, organizing and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management
- Experience in synchronous learning and/or facilitation for individuals or groups
- Experience in working and participating in cross-functional teams and projects
- Fundamental understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resources
- Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization
- Exposure to building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership
- Ability to interact tactfully and effectively in difficult situations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to include speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing effective training with eLearning authoring software - Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline)
- Experience creating videos and managing a video repository (Vyond, Adobe, Camtasia, Brightcove)
- Proven track record managing LMS and/or HCM learning paths and material
- Experience creating learning and graphic design assets with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Technical writing experience (specifically for training/educational materials)
- Facilitation experience leading classroom discussions/group training
- Virtual training experience in a classroom setting
- If internal, experience with Adobe Experience Manager maintaining and curating eNet content
