OVERVIEW:
Enlisted Sailors make up the general workforce of the Navy and the Navy Reserve. They hold hundreds of positions in dozens of different career fields from cryptology to construction, from nuclear energy to special operations.

These service members tend to be highly specialized and perform functions that are typically very hands-on. Through education and experience, Enlisted Sailors may have the opportunity to become Commissioned Officers.

As an information system technician you may serve in many roles such as:
