Tradesperson (Painter/Drywall Finisher/ WallCovering Installer)

Overview: NAYLOR, a leading finishing contractor company specializing in division 09 trades, is seeking Finishing Trades personnel to join our dynamic team. This role primarily focuses on painting, drywall finishing, wallcovering, and specialty finishes such as plasters and architectural films. This role is open to all levels and forms of background. The ideal candidate is someone who has a great sense of teamwork, enthusiasm to learn and adapt, and looking for a place of growth. Whether you are a journeyperson, or an apprentice, this position is an ideal role for any career path.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality projects, ensuring precision and attention to detail in both interior and exterior applications.
• Collaborate with project superintendents, project managers and various team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Prepare surfaces for finishing, including cleaning, patching, and priming as required.
• Operate and maintain finishing trade-specific tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance skills and contribute to continuous improvement.
• If applicable, assist in training and mentoring junior tradespersons or apprentices, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects, if applying for JourneyPerson level or higher.
• Dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finishes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
