QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in handling electrical and mechanical aspects concerning diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches.
- Previous hands-on experience working with power generation equipment such as diesel generators, gaseous generators, etc., including familiarization with brands like CAT/Caterpillar, Cummins, Generac, Kohler, among others.
- Willingness and availability to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays, and promptly respond to emergency calls when required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to provide proof of insurance eligibility.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of laptops for managing correspondence and service tickets, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Reader.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to customer sites to perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on cutting-edge diesel and natural gas generators (CAT/Caterpillar, Cummins, Generac, Kohler, etc.).
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot power generation equipment issues, encompassing problems associated with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and AC/DC generator controls.
- Ensure prompt travel to customer sites within specified response times to conduct emergency maintenance, diagnose, and repair generator equipment.
- Timely and accurate completion of all required documentation using the company's computer systems, while appropriately assessing and reporting the urgency of needed repairs.
- Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers during all service engagements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
