The Production Services Development Specialist's key responsibility is to support all initiatives aiming to growth Telemundo's Production Services at Telemundo Center. Those services include studio rental, set fabrication, wardrobe and props rental, technical production including virtual productions.

The Production Services Development Specialist creates documentation, communication, outreach campaigns, Telemundo Center tours and events, quotations and any other required pre-sales activity.

The Production Services Development Specialist collaborates with Telemundo Communication, Corporate Events, Marketing, Finance and Business & Legal Affairs to ensure all teams are aligned.

• Provides pre-sales support and markets the Telemundo O&T Services including Studios Services, Set Fabrication, Props, Wardrobe, Technical Production, and Virtual Production Services
• Manages the communication of Operations & Technology Services via Newsletters, Social Media, Website and other approved tools
• Administrates the Production Services website
• Manages the client database and funnel
• Responsible for managing and delivering accurate quotes enabling on-budget execution
• Collaborates with Finance and Projects or Production Services Managers to ensure tracking of budget, revenue, and actual costs
• Connect with NBCU Studios and Production Services teams to ensure consistency of our offering and leverage NBCU's scale and resources
• Network with the South Florida film and commercial productions companies to provide insights on the market needs and competition
• Create bi-weekly and monthly reports to leadership
• Influences & shares lessons learned to drive O&T resources to continuously improve and adapt to unique Productions' needs
• Embodies the excellence of Telemundo Center and is accountable for Production clients' experience when presenting Telemundo's facilities and services
• Assists Managerial team and the O&T leaders in forecasting future workload to optimize the use of our teams and resources
• Collaborates with Production Services Managers and Specialists for clean hand-off of the projects once ready for execution
• Develops and maintains strong relationship and positive collaboration with all our internal and external partners

Works under the direct supervision of VP, Projects & Production Services and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by Manager or Supervisor as needed

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of operational experience in a large-scale media environment (Broadcast, TV, News and information, Live Entertainment); or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proven success working in a matrix organization influencing stakeholders across multiple business units and on all levels of management
• Must be fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated knowledge of scripted productions and television production operations

This position is required to be performed on a Hybrid basis from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Desired Characteristics:

• Bachelor's degree within Marketing or Communication preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 & associated tools strongly preferred
• Proficient level of written and verbal skills in Spanish strongly preferred
• Production background preferred
• Exceptional communication, time management, analytical and organizational skills
• Self-starter who exhibits ownership on assigned tasks and who will push for solutions that solve immediate problems while building towards long-term goals
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
