PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

- The Digitization Production Assistant will be responsible for helping the NBC Sports Group with digitizing the videotape, disc and film archive.
- Organize and enter metadata for videotapes, discs and film reels in the NBC Sports Group’s physical media tracking system.
- Prepare tapes to be sent out of house to be digitized.
- Assist with the editing of metadata for new digital files.
- Track physical media shipments coming back to the NBC Sports Group facility and prepare them to be sent out for long-term storage.

BS/BA degree in a relevant TV Production or related field with equivalent work experience

Minimum one (1) years’ of familiarity with use of Avid non-linear editing software and Avid Interplay Media asset management software

Minimum one (1) years’ experience supporting Windows operating environment

Minimum one (1) years of prior studio/remote sports production experience
- Willingness to work weekend as needed
