Plantation Patterns, a division of NBGHome, is a manufacturer and distributor of beautiful outdoor cushions and umbrellas in the United States. We are currently seeking a National Accounts Manager to be based in our Birmingham, AL office. This is a full-time salary exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Sales.
Summary This position is responsible for growing sales and developing customer relationships with specifically assigned high profile customers on a National Level as established by the VP of Sales. This position acts as a primary point of contact for assigned National Retail Partners and analyzes relevant market and Company sales data in order to make strategic decisions regarding products, budgets, and forecasts. The position also acts as an advocate for all NBG Home divisions at their assigned accounts. This includes communicating and assisting in the development of programs from other NBG Home Divisions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:
Qualifications Significant use of Microsoft Office is required. And advanced skill level in Excel and PowerPoint Required. Significant use and understanding of both project management software (Wrike) product development database (Filemaker) required. Training to be provided however previous experience and understanding is needed. All external hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check. Requirements Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a consumer product design, development and marketing setting. Customer Orientation Must demonstrate concern and take actions to meet requirements and high standards of quality of both internal and external customers. Must display courtesy and sensitivity. Meet commitments. Respond promptly to customer needs. Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
