SUPERVISOR: Head Coach
BASIC FUNCTION: Will assist in the planning, organizing and coaching of NCC’s soccer program according to NICAA Rules and ICCAC By-law.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Experience coaching or playing soccer at the high school, college or club level.
Valid Driver’s License
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Basic Computer Skills
Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in exercise and sports science, health
and wellness, community health and education, recreational services or related
field. Previous experience working with students of diverse backgrounds.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist Head Soccer Coach in the day-to-day operations of the soccer program.
2. Assist in the recruitment of student athletes. This may include travel.
3. Assist in the academic monitoring and success of student athletes.
4. Assist Head Coach in game planning, practice organization, and daily individual instruction of student athletes.
5. Assist with fundraising activities for the program.
6. Assist with the marketing and promoting of the soccer program.
7. Advocate for NCC in the community.
8. Flexibility to assure coverage of the LLRC and support of other Student Services areas.
9. Be familiar with NCC policies and procedures.
10. Work effectively within a team environment.
11. Work with custodial and maintenance staff to insure facility cleanliness, equipment and building.
12. Collaborate with Admissions Department to support recruitment efforts and encourage increased enrollment.
13. Work closely with Head Soccer Coaches to ensure all parties are aware of logistics involving facilities, schedules, and transportation.
14. Assist the head coaches in the planning and management all in-season and off-season training.
15. Performs other duties as required by the Director of Athletics.
WAGE/SALARY RANGE: Based on experience and education.
