About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director/Workforce Development and Management Director to ensure that all human resources operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for HR strategies and management of the department. The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.
Responsibilities:
This role includes recruitment, hiring and onboarding, Worker's Comp/FMLA/EDD claims, safety and operations, and other duties as assigned.
- Ensure services compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company programs, practices, and policies specific to program and client management.
- Execute proper allocation of agency resources.
- Knowledge of administrative tasks
- Advanced computer skills,, including data entry, data processing, and payroll software
- Place job ads and maintain job posters.
- Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
- Select applicants meeting specified job requirements and schedule interviews.
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation.
- Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
- Assist in the preparation of orientation and handbooks for new employees.
- Conduct orientations as needed.
- Administer, implement and assist employees with benefit enrollment or deletions.
- Track benefit enrollment for financial department.
- Prepare and track worker’s compensation claims.
Qualifications:
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.
- Must have own vehicle, maintain a current California driver’s license and provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
- Must pass a background check.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills are required.
- Reading, writing, basic math skills, attention to detail for extended periods of time, repetition, problem solving, and the ability to motivate others.
Schedule and Compensation: The position is full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm at our corporate office in Paso Robles. Salary Schedule: $66,650-$74,880 annually. (All full-time employees are eligible for benefits outlined below!).
