Machine Shop Assistant - General Help With Room to Grow

NDZ Performance is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket firearms and shooting industry accessories. And we’re expanding! We are looking for entry to mid level CNC Machine Shop Assistants / Machinists.

Founded in 2008, NDZ Performance is a direct-to-consumer company (we sell our products directly to shoppers). Today, we own and operate a robust machine shop (American made!) and can be found on multiple ecommerce marketplaces.

Some prior technical schooling/ experience may be required. See qualifications below.

Pay Range: $17-25 Hourly

Job Description:

Includes but is not limited to:

• load and unload / operating CNC HAAS machines
• assemble and inspect production materials
• stock product and help with organizing inventory
• multitask between running machines and helping with finishing operations (deburring, tumbling, bead blasting, etc).

• Handling products so you are safe and the product is damage free
• Maintain accurate inventory
• Work Smarter, Not Harder: Safely use mechanical aids (flats, dollys, box cutters, power tools, etc.)
• Assemble and inspect product
• Use of tools like micrometer, vernier calipers, etc
• General shop support where needed

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• 6 months’ labor or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand tools preferred
• Ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department (up to 70lbs)
• Can read a micrometer and vernier calipers
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
