We are looking for a hard-working, energetic team member to join our year-round team as a host.
The Host works to further the mission of the Carol Joy Holling Center by providing gracious hospitality to guest groups. The Host does everything possible to ensure that each group that comes to Carol Joy Holling Center has all it needs to accomplish its goals while on site. Hosts are hired because of their serving hearts and extraordinary attitudes.
The position schedule is variable and is scheduled across seven days, and weekends and shifts going into the evening are common. To assist with care and security of guests, this position is required to live on-site in a discounted apartment.
Regularly assigned tasks will include:
- Conduct setups for meeting and conference rooms and ensure their cleanliness
- Greeting, hosting and aiding departure of guest groups
- Stocking of hospitality areas
- Provide housekeeping support as needed and requested
- When needed, transport laundry between retreat facilities and camp laundry
- Do Garbage pickup, recycling material pickups, and maintain trash/recycle areas
- Communicate regularly with other hosts regarding status of daily tasks.
- On call overnight service as needed
- Occasional airport transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
