The Nebraska Maintenance Academy is accepting applications for our next training cohort. Class begins on June 3rd, 2024.
Our cohort is designed in three sections:
- Section 1: Classroom training Mon-Fri, from 8 am-4 pm.
- Section 2: Training is split with in-class from 8 am-12 pm and paid apprenticeship from 1 pm-5 pm, Mon-Fri.
- Section 3: Paid apprenticeship, Mon-Fri., 8 am-5 pm.
The Nebraska Maintenance Academy is a 12-week Maintenance Training Program. You will receive hands-on Training, a paid Apprenticeship, and immediate full-time job placement assistance. Financial Assistance may be available.
Participants can expect to become highly skilled in the following:
HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Shop Safety, Carpentry Drywall Repair, Tile & Flooring, Pool Maintenance, CPR, OSHA-10 certified, EPA 608 certified and much more.
*Each participants receives a tool bag complete with supplies needed to do the work of a maintenance technician.
The Nebraska Maintenance Academy is the first of its kind in the Midwest and we are pleased to have placed 95% of our graduates in Full Time jobs with Excellent Pay and great Health Benefits in the multi-family housing industry.
Applicants will be considered from all areas with the understanding that classes will be held at the Apartment Association of Nebraska Development Center in Omaha.
