Nature of Work
Performs a variety of professional writing, editing, and photography duties in support of the daily operations of media relations, marketing, and college relations. Prepares and disseminates information to the internal college community, as well as to local and state media. Promotes and publicizes institutional activities and programs outside of Athletics.
Examples of Work Performed
Write and disseminate original CSC press releases, while providing photographic coverage of CSC events
Assist with Social Media management
Assist with publicizing college events through a variety of means
Assist with writing content for the CSC website
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
Three years’ experience in communication-related field
Physical Demands
The physical requirements for this position may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the ability to use a computer, calculator, telephone, keyboard, and/or various types of office equipment. Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats and satisfactorily perform the functions of this position.
