Visual Merchandiser

We are seeking a full-time Visual Merchandiser who can create experiences that are both creative and aspirational. Our Visual Merchandiser will work collaboratively with our general manager, fulfillment, and creative teams to maintain all aspects of inventory management and assortment. They are merchandising an inviting and unique environment aiming to maximize in-store sales. From developing compelling displays to supporting quality control, the Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that merchandise presentations exceed Totokaelo standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create all window changes and display changes
• Work successfully with store manager and creative team to plan, coordinate and execute visuals that drive sales
• Re-merchandise the floor according to successes and sales feedback
• Manage visual and merchandising aspects of in-store events and the seasonal store set (mapping, fixtures, product flow, merchandising, signage and display)
• Work closely with our fulfillment center and merchant teams to facilitate assortment and inventory control
• Execute daily transfers and support stockroom standards
• Exhibit and maintain an appropriate aesthetic throughout store
• Restock merchandise on the floor, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach
• Proven track-record of driving sales through merchandising and visuals
• A superb eye for style, visual composition and attention to detail
• 2+ years visual merchandising experience in fashion retail environment
• Portfolio that demonstrates expertise in visual merchandising (must be submitted with resume in order to be considered for position)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Visual merchandising experience in leading fashion retailer environment
• Demonstrated industry awareness and market knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Visual Merchandising or something similar
