Summary: Responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.
IMPORTANT: Must have a personal cell phone and willing to use for work (Monthly stipend will be paid by NHcare). Must have a vehicle, an active/valid CA Driver's License, and current auto insurance, in order to drive on behalf of NHcare (mileage reimbursement at IRS rate).
1. Perform security patrols including driving patrols.
2. Protect property from theft, fire and accidents.
3. Provide any needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors.
4. Perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
5. Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
6. Escort staff and visitors to vehicles when requested.
7. Perform basic janitorial duties.
8. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff and the public.
9. Understand and follow standard policy and procedures.
10. Keep self and others informed of organizational activities and promote mission and goals.
11. Function at highest level according to credentials and competency.
12. Positively impact patient experience by demonstrating courteous and helpful behavior and a commitment to accuracy.
13. Operate to instill confidence in our care and in our facilities to patients, fellow employees, and other stakeholders.
14. Wear or use appropriate safety equipment as required. Use appropriate body mechanics to ensure an injury free environment.
Qualifications:
Skills: Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Current CA Guard Card required. CPR certified or willing to certify within 30 days of employment.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience preferred

Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.76 per hour, Depends on Experience (DOE)
