As a Bookkeeper on the BackOffice team, a typical day for you will include:
- Develop operational standards and best practices for bookkeeping and accounting services to franchisees.
- Provide feedback for and participate in continuous improvement of procedures and processes.
- Develop relationships with Neighborly brand operations to expand bookkeeping service to the Franchise owners.
- Provide bookkeeping services to franchise owners as outlined in the BackOffice’s contract.
- Working cross-functionally to evaluate and recommend changes and solutions to standardize and improve processes and procedures.

- Experience: 3 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting experience.
- Extensive operational expertise with QuickBooks. online. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Understand and apply generally accepted accounting principles within the business environment.
- Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus
- Independent and self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Adaptability to new industry-specific software
- Collaborative team player
- Experience training new franchise owners
- Sense of humor
- Education: Minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Schedule / in-office requirements: Remote or Hybrid, Waco or Irving TX
- Competitive Pay: Commensurate with experience
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours weekly), Monday- Friday 8 PM-5 PM
