Neighbourly Pharmacy is now looking for a staff Pharmacist to join the team at the Guildford Pharmasave in Surrey, BC.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist will work to full scope of practice, enhancing patient health and wellness by administering safe, effective, and responsible drug therapy. The Pharmacist will be instrumental in achieving departmental excellence through, implementing best practices, optimizing workflow efficiencies and staying attuned to evolving healthcare trends.
Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
Monitor medication therapy for effectiveness, adverse reactions, and interactions
Counsel patients regarding prescriptions, OTC products, and health related issues, including but not limited to; indications, contraindications, adverse effects, interactions, and appropriate storage and care
Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
Provide clinical services as appropriate for eligible patients
Administer injections/immunizations as needed
Promote health and wellness by providing education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence
Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes
Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
Adhere to federal, provincial, and territorial regulations governing pharmacy practice
Engage in continuous professional development; keeps knowledge and professional skills up-to-date
Other duties as required
Technical Skills:

Ability to work well in a team environment
Education and Experience:
Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
Injection certification is a must
OAT certification is required
Kroll experience is preferred
