DEPARTMENT: Thermoforming Machine Operators

POSITION TITLE: Machine Operator

Reports to: The Manufacturing Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of forming machines and related equipment involved in the production of plastic formed parts, ensuring the quality in finished product being delivered to our customers. The position must proactively work to resolve problems
  • Operation of thermoforming machines and associated processes
  • Utilize methods to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Utilize process set up sheets
  • Breakdown, clean, set up and maintain various machines
  • Material Handling, identification and machine loading
  • Knowledge of machine burn out
  • Knowledge of machine controllers
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Keep work area neat, clean

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 - 4 years machine and support equipment experience
  • Must have excellent technical knowledge of thermoforming process and machines
  • Safety conscious
  • Excellent organizational, oral/written communication required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.75 per year
