Controller
Sonoma
$120,000 to $140,000 annually
We are partnering with a client of ours in the Hospitality Industry who is seeking a Controller to oversee the finances of the organization. This role is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and fostering a healthy work environment. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule and a great benefit package.
Main Functions Include:
- Manage accounting team to ensure accounting functions are up to standard.
- Ensure transactions are correctly coded on financial statements.
- Monitor performance relative to budgets and forecasts.
- Manage local, state, and Federal government compliance reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for annual audit.
- Manage cash flow.
- Contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies to support the growth and success of the organization.
- Contribute to the creation and management of the annual budget.
- Provide recommendations on improvements to internal controls, efficiency, and safety to the organization.

Ideal qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 6 years’ experience in similar role with Winery or hospitality industry preferred.
- CPA license a plus
- Knowledge of Navision and strong Excel skills preferred.
