Job Summary:
Established Real Estate company is looking to hire a seasoned Controller to join their team. Ideally, looking for a hands-on leader with Real Estate Industry experience to help perform essential job duties and responsibilities.
The role will be onsite 5 days in SF.
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Oversee Financial Operations of the company (Cash Flow, Internal Controls, Audits, etc.)
- Manage all aspects of FP&A (Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning)
- Financial Statements / Monthly Close
- Shareholder/Investor reporting.
- Leadership of a team of up to 7 people
Job Title Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Experience utilizing Real Estate Software (Yardi, MRI, CTI, AppFolio) as well as Advanced Excel
- 5-10 years in a financial leadership role preferably from the Real Estate or related industry
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
