Position Description: Paralegal for Family Law Office in Newport Beach – 40 hours/week

Boutique family law office in Newport Beach is seeking a full-time paralegal to start immediately. Salary based upon experience.

Job Description includes the following:

  • Preparing pleadings, letters, memoranda, and other legal documents
  • Communicating with judicial staff, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Contacting clients for information and trial preparation
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Degree in paralegal studies or a paralegal certificate
  • 2 years of family law experience is preferred!
  • Advanced experience with Word, Adobe, Outlook, Legal Solutions, and a billing program
  • Experience with CLIO, and DissoMaster Suite is a plus
  • Professional, self-starter, and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills and team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Paralegal: 1 year (Required)
