Energy and Environmental Regulatory Associate

Overview

Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Litigation Associate to its energy & environmental regulatory group in the Columbia office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral associate who wants to be part of a growing practice.

A Day in the Life

Nelson Mullins’ Columbia SC office was established in 1897 by Patrick Henry Nelson. Today in Columbia, we have approximately 115 attorneys and 230 support staff providing client services across a range of practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, and e-discovery.

You will assist the team with the development and financing of thermal and renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, geothermal, hydro, waste-to-energy, natural gas and coal facilities, and natural gas pipelines. Want to know more about our Columbia office? Check out the office here.

We Know You

You have between two and five years of meaningful litigation experience, with experience in the areas of energy and environmental law considered a bonus. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills as well as strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management and are ready to take the lead. You are admitted in Good Standing to the South Carolina State Bar.
