What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller (FT) position at NEMR Total HR?
We are looking for a Controller to join our team. If you want to work in a small, family-owned business that has been around for 65 years and have prior controller experience, this opportunity is for you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight of AR and AP Staff (team of 4).
- Handle Month-End Close including Bank Rec’s Trial Balance close, P&L.
- Weekly payroll submission.
- Cash flow management.
- Insurance management (renewals and monthly reporting).
- Credit application oversight for potential new customers.
- Accounts receivable management - collections.
- Accounts payable management - manage vendor payments.
- Operational workflow management skills (entering a technology transition phase).
- Understanding the leasing business, DMV, registrations and DOT compliance.
- Bank and Capex management.
- Year End Close - books and coordinate external accountant close.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm (on site).
- Prior experience as a Controller.
- CPA is a huge plus.
- Leasing Industry experience, ideal.
- GL - NAV system, huge plus.
