What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter (FT) position at NEMR Total HR?
We are looking to expand our growing team. We have a need for a Full time Painter. Ideal candidates will be familiar with and responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to enhance and protect various structures and objects. Responsibilities:
- Prepping and painting company owned containers and trailers.
- Prepping and painting containers and units for customers.
- De-identify purchased units and re-identify with company units numbers/decals.
- Select and mix appropriate paints and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures.
- Ensure the use of suitable primers and sealers for different surfaces.
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Use different application techniques to create specific textures or effects.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and ensuring proper ventilation.
- Follow guidelines for the safe disposal of paint and other hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and follow project specifications.
- Physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of standing, bending, and lifting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational or technical training in painting is a plus.
- Certification in painting or related field is a plus.
Schedule:
- Full Time, Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM.
