Custodian Team member

Due to exciting growth, we wish to recruit a part-time Custodian Team Member, for our offices based in Ayr. From farm to fork, we offer solutions to enhance the quality, quantity, and safety of the global food supply. Our food safety diagnostics are used within farming operations to the production facilities of most of the world’s best-known food companies. Our team supports the European, Middle Eastern, African, and Indian (EMEAI) territories for Neogen, a top performing NASDAQ listed business employing over 2,000 people worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring assigned areas of the premises are kept clean and tidy and meet acceptable standards. Neogen specialises in solutions for animal and food safety offering a diverse range of products and services for the agriculture, animal protein, food and beverage industries. What you’ll be doing: · Responsible for opening building in the morning. · Vacuum carpets, mop and buffer floors. · Dust and polish surfaces and furniture. · Cleaning and sanitizing of toilets, kitchen and staff tea rooms. · Refill supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, soap and cleaning supplies. · Empty bins in offices and meeting rooms. · Adhere to the Company Health & Safety policies and procedures. · Any other relevant duties as required. About you: · Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous. · Excellent communication and English speaking. · Flexibility to cover morning shifts over holidays. · Must be highly motivated, with excellent organization skills and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative. Please note this role is part-time based on 25 hours per week. The shift pattern will be Monday – Friday from 10am – 3.30pm.
