Brand Designer & Illustrator

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Brand Designer and Illustrator. Our boutique agency specializes in helping companies develop and enhance their brand identity. In this role, you will be able to work with a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to established businesses, and contribute to creating impactful branding materials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their brand vision and create unique design concepts illustrations and graphics that align with their goals.
• Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across various platforms and marketing materials.
• Design and produce eye-catching visuals, including logos, print materials, social media graphics, and more.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and techniques and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality output.
• Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and provide input on design strategies and concepts.
• Present and communicate design concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback and making necessary revisions

Requirements

• Proven experience in brand design and illustration, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Solid understanding of design principles, composition, color theory, and typography
• Strong design skills, with the ability to create original illustrations and graphics for both print and digital applications
• Attention to detail, including copywriting and proofreading skills
• Understanding and ability to handle printing projects with established and new vendors
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and incorporate feedback
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ensure that all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across different platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and produce innovative designs
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Assist with other design-related tasks as needed

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong artistic skills with a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of digital design principles and techniques
• Familiarity with typography, color theory, and composition
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
