CAD Technician

• Read, evaluate, and interpret designs and drawings.
  
• Working with the design team and individually on CAD projects.
  
• Inputting design specifications and dimensional data into CAD software.
  
• Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into CAD systems.
  
• Creating 2D drawings and 3D CAD models according to the project specifications.
  
• Digitizing physical objects and generating assemblies from existing drawings.
  
• Publishing documents from all relevant CAD drawings
  
• Documenting modifications of designs and maintain drawing sets.

• 
  Technical degree in Computer Aided Drafting or sufficient training and experience to perform the essential functions of the position is required.
  
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software and CAD principles and standards.
  
• Ability to read, evaluate, and interpret mechanical drawings and technical schematics.
  
• Basic understanding of building design and mechanical processes.
  
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects.
  
• Excellent multi-taking and time management skills.
  
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  
• Engineering experience a plus.
  
• Demonstrates a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  
• Makes effective decisions under the pressure of time and with limited information.
  
• Ability to be resourceful to makes good by using internal resources including systems, equipment, supplies, analytical tools, etc.
  
• Keeps up to date on knowledge specific to his/her field.
