Precision Orthodontics in Auburn, CA is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will play a central part in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our patients and their family members. You will be the initial point of contact and a vital member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, guaranteeing a seamless and enjoyable visit for all who step into our office.

Responsibilities

  • Create a warm and inviting atmosphere by warmly greeting patients and their families, establishing positive connections, and promoting the practice's reputation.
  • Facilitate seamless check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a hassle-free experience for patients.
  • Professionally and courteously manage incoming calls, offering information and assistance as needed.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for patients, offering guidance and support when required.
  • Efficiently handle patient appointments to ensure prompt service, meeting their needs effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office, creating a professional and inviting environment for all visitors.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service, responding to inquiries and requests with patience, empathy, and a sincere commitment to helping.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure comprehensive fulfillment of patient requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader team to create a positive and empathetic atmosphere where patients feel valued, respected, and secure.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment where working under pressure was a regular part of the job is a plus.
  • Proven capacity to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations, ensuring consistent productivity and quality of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic office environment, effectively managing competing demands and maintaining composure under pressure. 
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and efficiently handling multiple responsibilities in a busy office setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and superiors, even in high-pressure scenarios.
  • Adept at organizing and structuring workloads, enabling efficient navigation through a busy office atmosphere.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to find practical solutions to challenges that arise in a demanding work environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, ready to contribute to a supportive team atmosphere, fostering collective success in a fast-paced office.
  • Demonstrated track record of being accountable, responsible, and trustworthy in all tasks and assignments.
  • Maintain excellent attendance records, arriving on time and consistently adhering to scheduled work hours.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In accordance with state applicable laws, Precision Orthodontics is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual compensation decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
