What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst I position at Neptune?
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to support the effective and efficient utilization of the Enterprise Applications & Data systems for all users across Neptune. He or she will capture user requirements and translate them into actionable specifications and solutions. He or she will drive resources to deliver solid solutions in a timely manner and make recommendations on best practices and process improvements. The Business Analyst will work with Data Governance to manage the quality and consistency of data. The Business Analyst will work with end users, technical resources, and project teams to support and/or facilitate user training and acceptance testing.
Responsibilities:
Data Integrity (40%)
- Runs and reviews reports to identify data quality issues, investigates root causes of the issues, and works both individually and with others to implement corrective action
- Communicates with business teams on a regular basis to ensure clean data for use across all areas of the organization and to support organization initiatives
Administration, Training, and Support (40%)
- Works internally with Product Owners, Development, and Applications resources to support the translation of business requirements into functional specifications
- Promotes user adoption of Enterprise Applications platforms through Tier 1 support and training activities
- Provides timely insights and analytical support to different internal business stakeholders (including sales, marketing, and other departments) to support effective business decision making
- Research tools/vendors/solutions in support of business requirements
Drive Quality (10%)
- Supports testing efforts, working closely with both development and business process owners to create test cases/scenarios and design adequate testing methodologies
Other Duties as Assigned (10%)
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical field
Experience Required:
- 2 years of experience in a CRM and/or analytical role
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, including presentations
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and the ability to make trade-offs
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and manage changing priorities and workload
- Customer-centric: excellent team player, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Additional Desired Skills: MS Dynamics Certified Administrator desired/preferred or candidate is willing to pursue
Location: Duluth, Georgia or Tallassee, Alabama (some travel required between locations)
Salary : $51,100 - $64,600
