My client, a large Oil and Gas Company, is currently seeking a Field Service Specialist for a long-term contract in Benicia, CA. The successful candidate must have a valid TWIC.
The Technical Field Specialist is to assist in the development and monitoring of specialized chemical applications for the Downstream Chemical division. The candidate for this position will assist our client's Account Manager in all tasks related to his activities with their customers and particularly in monitoring various industrial chemical programs (fieldwork, laboratory testing and data collection & interpretation).
As a Technical Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performance and reliability monitoring of various industrial chemical applications • Collection of samples and operational data at our customer sites
- Various laboratory work
- Data processing and analysis
- Inventory management of various specialty products
- Supervision/audit of hazardous material delivery
- Participation in the development and economic justification of technical projects • Manage and supervise temporary chemical treatment (when needed)
- Valid TWIC
To be successful in this role you will require:
- College or university diploma in a field relevant to the position (chemistry, industrial/process engineering or chemical engineering)
- Ability to work independently while being proactive and resourceful in completion of tasks
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Safety focused mindset in all that you do
- Fully fluent in French and intermediate level English required
- Valid driver's license
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
