What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at NES Fircroft?
The Eagle Ford Integrated Operations Center (IOC) serves as the front-line of remote operations. Utilizing surveillance programs, SCADA systems, and customized workflows, IOC staff can visualize problems from a unique perspective and quickly drive solutions.
This contingent position, based in Eagle Ford’s Kenedy field office on a 7&7 work schedule, will perform production surveillance and remote operations support in collaboration with field personnel.
Eagle Ford IOC Operator responsibilities include :
Monitor wells and facilities for alarms, trips, and operational issues, investigate / troubleshoot
remotely with SCADA data, and communicate with field personnel to drive resolution.
Monitor gathering and processing facilities to ensure meeting gas nominations to each offtake
partner across the field.
Support on-site field work to assist with production troubleshooting and restart ramp up after
shutdown.
Evaluate system capacity to manage compression HP utilization at central facilities as
production volumes change.
Utilize SCADA and data tools to assess overall field performance and help identify uplift
opportunities.
Optimize uplift through adjusting chokes and managing ramp up targets based on available
facility and infrastructure capacity.
- Monitor wells for offset impacts from COP and competitor fracs.
- Perform production validation and loss coding.
- Field calls from operations personnel and third-party vendors to answer questions regarding
current operational status of facilities, compression, tank levels, well status, etc.
Field calls from internal and external sources regarding emergencies, gather information, and
take appropriate action based on the event, as per IOC emergency protocols.
Learn roles and responsibilities of all IOC operations functions (dispatch, well operations,
Mainline, including obtaining DOT certification for Mainline console).
Support and comply with the policies, goals, efforts, and programs of Company
Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Basic / Required :
- Proficiency in Cygnet / SCADA.
- Basic level knowledge of production facilities, compression, gas processing, gas lift, ESP, and
other artificial lift systems.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications : Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint,
Teams and Word
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Kenedy, TX
Preferred :
- Knowledge of data analytics programs (MS Excel, Spotfire, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
