What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Inspector position at NES Fircroft?
We are looking for QC Inspector to become a part of a Leading O&G Manufacturer in the South Houston area. Work 90 days and become a permanent employee immediately after completion. (401k & Benefits)
Objective: This person will be responsible for inspection of in-process and finished goods with emphasis on precision machined parts to customer quality standards and dimensional control. Responsible for ensuring that finished goods meet all customer quality requirements prior to shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Must have 5-10 years experience as a machine job shop inspector
- Working from verbal or written instructions, quality standards, and/or other quality document.
- Dimensionally inspects machined parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments.
- Performs incoming material inspection according to establishing standards.
- Performs First Article in-process and final inspection to ensure customer quality standards are met.
- Maintains inspection records and records and logs inspection data, NCR’s.
- Initiates and maintains positive interaction between the quality and production personnel.
- Generates final inspection, material certs and required customer documentation/labels.
- Maintains equipment in a clean manner and ensures that all equipment is stored properly such that it will be protected from damage when not in use.
