Position: CNC Programmer

Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs using MasterCAM software for various machining operations, including milling, turning, drilling, and multi-axis machining.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand technical drawings, specifications, and machining requirements.
- Optimize machining processes to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazak, Fanuc, and Toyoda machining centers, ensuring proper functionality and quality output.
- Conduct tool selection, toolpath generation, and optimization for desired surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, tolerances, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in machined components.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making adjustments to programs, tools, and machines.
- Maintain and update CNC programs and documentation to reflect design changes, process improvements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams for machine maintenance, calibrations, and tool changes.
- Provide training and guidance to machine operators, ensuring efficient production of quality parts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in CNC programming and machining.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- 3 or more years of experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in MasterCAM programming.
- Proficiency in operating and programming Mazak, Fanuc, and Toyoda machining centers.
- In-depth understanding of GD&T principles and their practical application.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve machining issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in machined components.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
