Key Responsibilities:
" Lead end-to-end recruitment, from crafting job postings to onboarding, ensuring qualified candidates aligned with our culture.
" Manage New Hire Orientation and Employee Offboarding processes.
" Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and devise recruitment strategies.
" Manage employee relations, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
" Conduct investigations and resolve workplace issues.
" Implement performance appraisal processes aligned with organizational goals.
" Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and goal setting.
" Administer and enhance employee benefit programs.
" Oversee COBRA and workers' compensation administration.
" Recommend improvements to benefits package.
" Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
" Regularly review and update HR policies.
" Identify training needs and coordinate professional development.
" Collaborate on career development plans.
" Coordinate employee events to enhance team engagement.
Qualifications:
" Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
" HR certification is a plus.
" 2-5 years of progressive HR experience.
" Strong knowledge of employment laws.
" Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
" Ability to maintain confidentiality.
" Preferred experience in engineering or related industry.
" Experience with IWTP Grant is advantageous.
" Familiarity with DISA is preferred.
" Familiarity with BambooHR and Employee Navigator is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
" Extended periods of desk work.
" Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
" May require up to 5% travel.
