Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe work environment.
- Safely operate and maintain the assigned metal machine and related equipment to meet daily production orders.
- Conduct safety observations as assigned to promote a culture of safety.
- Follow standard work processes and procedures for the assigned machine.
- Verify the presence of proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Perform quality checks on parts using gauges, micrometers, and calipers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Package finished parts in accordance with guidelines.
- Be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Previous machine operation experience is preferred.
- Strong math skills to perform measurements and calculations.
- Experience with the use of gauges, micrometers, and calipers for quality inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, blueprints, and schematics.
- Detail-oriented mindset to maintain precision and quality in operations.
