Job Description: We are looking for a versatile and skilled Handyman to support our manufacturing client in Madison Heights, MI. The Handyman will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks within the facility to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repair tasks to maintain the building's interior and exterior.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with tools, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with the setup and relocation of workstations, machinery, and equipment within the facility.
- Perform inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
- The role involves working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work during off-hours or weekends for emergency repairs as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in relevant trades is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
