Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable material handler to join the team of one of our long-term clients in the Clarkston area.

The Material Handler is responsible for staging jobs for production, delivering material to fabrication team, assists in organizing and receiving in stock material, and general warehouse tasks / housekeeping.

The hours are 6 am - 2 : 30 pm Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime.

Job Duties :

  • Review job folders daily and coordinate with Plant Manager to ensure jobs are staged in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all required materials are staged accurately for jobs.
  • Transport materials for assembly to appropriate build teams.
  • Coordinate with Fabrication Manager to ensure fabrication team saw, shear, mills have the material required to complete assignments.
  • Assist with unloading containers and placing incoming items in inventory.
  • Ensures proper placement of inventory.
  • Assist in physical inventories as required.
  • Maintain material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction.
  • Sweeping and general housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Experience operating a sit-down fork truck.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexible, team player
  • Able to read a tape measure (Inches / MM)
