Nesco Resource is hiring for Production Helpers in Lewisburg TN.
Shift: 8am-8pm OR 8pm-8am
Pay: $18.49/hr for DAYS and $19.49/hr for NIGHTS
Requirements
The general scope of this position's responsibility is to work closely with the Line Tech. The Helper must be able to perform numerous tasks as the Line Tech sees fit. They must pay attention to the roll quality as they put the rolls on the skid. They must apply themselves on a daily basis to learn the film manufacturing process, as well as safety and quality issues. They must be able to work as a team player with the rest of the crew and other employees. They must be able to work safely and professionally around all moving equipment.

These duties are performed in an area where it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Essential Job Functions
- Take rolls off of spindle, check roll edge quality, and properly stack rolls onto skid.
- Load and align cores properly onto the spindle.
- Assist in weight check procedure.
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning procedures in a timely manner.
- Wrap pallets properly on a daily basis.
- Assist Line Tech on start up and shut down, on changing screens, and cleaning die.
- Wear all personal protective equipment.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to work safely.
- Ability to understand/communicate English in oral and written form.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability and willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Ability to work a PM shift.
- Ability to wear all PPE (personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, hear, and speak English proficiently.
