Talent Sourcing Specialist Summary of Position The Talent Sourcing Specialist's primary responsibilities are to source qualified resumes for all assigned requisitions.
Reports to : Market Manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sourceresumes from applicant tracking system and other recruiting toolsfor various positionson a daily basis.
Identify qualified candidates for potentialplacementto build talent pipeline. Usecreative andout-of-the-box sourcing techniques to find top talent.
Collaborate with recruiters and / or hiring managers to understand position requirements. Enter pre-qualified candidates, job postings and notes into the company's candidate database.
Write and interpret job descriptions. List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other effective channels.
Create portfolio of possible candidates forrecruitersto screen. Perform data-entry and administrative functions as needed.
Network withonlinecivic, socialand other groupstolookforand connect withtop candidates. Participate in implementing new recruiting technology, such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools.
Complywith allcompany safety guidelines and processes,reportingknown safety issues, including near misses, accidents and potential concerns, to the appropriate supervisor or member of the risk department.
All other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Previous sourcing or recruiting experience preferred.
Strongtechnicalaptitude, withthe ability to navigate multiple systems and thedesire to further develop skills. Experience with Boolean advantageous.
Excellentcustomer service, organization, time management skills and business ethics. Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills.
Team-oriented and collaborative nature. Driven, energetic, and tenacious; willing to work extended hours when necessary and perform at a high level of productivity.
Highly adaptable to change. Proactive approach to work, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required. 2 Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about the inside of the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. and bend or stand as necessary.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Occasionally positions self to move boxes or equipment weighing 25 pounds or less. Frequently communicates with fellow employees, clients, associates, etc.
